Summary of Donations to Scope
As a physiotherapist Barbara spent much of her working life and spare time working with disabled children, encouraging and giving confidence to them and their parents. For some years she volunteered at weekends at the then named Spastics Society (now Scope) helping with outdoor activities. She worked hard to minimise the long term effects of disability and developed long standing friendships with many of the families.
